Artist’s Bio
Fine Artist
I am an artist, a human, I have to make things.
I care because I feel we need to express ourselves and interact with each other. We need to share.
I love Sculpture because it interacts with us. It inhabits the same space we do. I believe the role of an artist - is that of a recorder, a translator, a technician.
My themes often embody women’s strength, struggle, and wisedom. “Edgy, bold, true”, have been a few of the words used to describe my pieces. Especially my “blood” raku series. Yep, it’s what you think. Menstrual blood traced upon our bodies in a cross fashion. Red hands, feet. “Never feel shame to be.”
